GolfWorks
GolfWorks was incorporated into the WPMJGA program in 2001. GolfWorks, a component of WPMJGA that gets young men and women interim jobs local at country clubs. The types of jobs are:
- Bag room attendant
- Golf Course Superintendent assistant
- Jobs shadowing the General Manager
- Proshop assistant
- Working in the accounting department
- Working in the restaurant
Over 30 young men and women have participated since the
inception of the program. Two young men entered college
in pursuit of becoming a PGA professional and one young
lady is in college pursuing a degree in hospitality. Many
other former participants are pursuing college degrees
in other disciplines.
