Mission Statement

Our mission is to assist our young people to improve the conditions that are necessary to achieve fundamental, physical, social and psychological well-being by using the game of golf as the instrument.

ACHIEVEMNT STATEMENT

We achieve our objectives by adding elements to our program that are consistent with our mission, enhances our program to continue to be a community asset and set us apart from the typical golf program.

COLABORATION/EMPOWERMENT STATEMENT

WPMJGA not only teaches the qualities and intricacies of golf, but more importantly we equip our young men and women with the necessary fundamental skills to empower them to desire and pursue a college education. This empowerment is through our summer intern job opportunities with corporations and upscale golf courses, our one-on-one mentoring and coaching program, working with the Program to Aid Citizen Enterprise (PACE) to assist those students needing help on their PSAT, SAT and ACT test preparation, and partnering with educational institutions.
By partnering with the educational institutions in our region, we will become the conduit for providing quality young men and women to our local colleges in an effort to keep our young in our region after graduating college which will enhance the communities for which they come from.
