Rock led the way with a 78 on a rain filled day at 
one of the Pirate's great golf course.

On a day when Tiger Woods held his competitors at 
bay, Art Terry showed up and did the same leading the 
way with a good round of 78 on some fast greens.

DP and Dennis battled hard in an effort to seize 
control of the second flight.  Both led the way today 
shooting 83.

Today was a warm day as Rock led the way with a 79 
followed by Mike T with close second with a 81.
 
Jul 22, 2007 Yankee Run
Today was a great day for playing and only 9 players 
showed.  Dennis Scott led the way with an 81 and Cal 
Womack followed with an 83.
 
Jul 15, 2007 Cranberry 11:10 am
Today was a nice warm day as the players came out to 
play Cranberry from the back tees.  Alton led the way 
today with a 73 follow closely by Rock (75), Mike T 
(76), Mike F (78) and Evan (78).   
 
Jul 8, 2007 Riverview Golf Club
Today was one of the hottest days that we played all 
year.  Rock led the way with a 78.
 
Jul 1, 2007 Glengarry
The Tournament Player led the way by going out with 
33, but coming back in as Norman Brice with a 42 
shooting a gross 75.  TP was followed closely by Rock 
and Mike T with a 77 and the Big E shot his best with 
an 82.
 
Jun 24, 2007 Donegal Highlands
Today was a great day to play and Alton and The 
Tournament Player did just that leading the way with 
79s.
 
Jun 10, 2007 Village Green
The GREENS at Village Green were so slick that Rock 6 
putted from 3 feet and many of his fellow players 
found the greens just as slippery.  Even with the six 
putt, both Rock and Calvin Womack led the field with 
an 85.

Alton Jolly and Mike Thomas can out of gate fast 
shooting 78 and 79 respectively as the Duffer's FedEx 
Cup just got underway.
 
May 27, 2007 Mannitto Golf Club 9:00am
Today was a very nice day to play and the course was 
in wonderful shape.  Rock led the field with a 79, 
followed by Mike Thomas (81)as the practice season 
concludes with play today.
 
May 20, 2007 Birdsfoot at 9:30 am
Today -- was a great day for scoring Dr. Fussell (77) 
led the way, Russell (79), Dr. Baker (79) and Alton 
(79).   Two eagles were carded one each by Fussell 
and Baker.  Good playing guys as we near the end of 
our warmup season.  It looks like Russell is playing 
himself into the champion flight, but don't tell him 
that he is playing well.  Dave Powell is hoping that 
his fine play continues for at least another week.

Today was a great mother's day as 14 Duffers accepted 
the challenge that Suncrest Golf Course presented.  
Rock led the way with a smooth 77 followed by Mike 
Thomas with a 79.  

Please note that Cranberry and Riverview dates were 
corrected.
 
May 6, 2007 Birdsfoot
On a cold spring day at Birdsfoot, Alton Jolly led 
the way with a smooth 78 carding a 1 under par (35) 
on the back 9.  Russell Drake is also making a push 
towards the top by shooting an 82.  Good playing guys!

Dr. Fussell, really torched the field with a 76 and 
Alton was a close second with 79.

Finally, we got to play and play we did! 

Dr. Purdie (Birdie) came out of the gate with a great 
front and succumed to the heat on the back.

Fox Run -- Today was rained out.  Memmbers should be 
aware that the months of April and May will be used 
to establish Duffer's handicaps.  Handicaps will be 
used to establish player's flights and subsequent 
competitors within the flight.  Handicaps will be 
displayed by clicking on the "STATS" option and 
panning down.  The "AVE" will represent the Duffer's 
handicap which will only include scores played as a 
club.  Members shown in the various flights are 
projected until after May.

The Duffers Play-off concluded today with a tough day 
of golf.  Rock led the way and won low gross with an 
85 and Russell Drake won the low net with a 73 (86 
gross).

Mike Thomas led the way today with a 76, followed 
closely by Rock with a 77.   This was the Duffers 
final regular season event.

Mike Thomas led the way today with an 81.

The season is drawing to a close and the points title 
is hotly contested in the second flight with 4  
points separating three players.
 
Sep 4, 2005 Firestone Farms
Rock led the field of nine players on very tricky 
greens with a 79.  Once again Lester Crawford led the 
way in the second flight with an 81 and 3 birdies.
 
Aug 28, 2005 Mystery Trip -- Boulder Creek
Norman Brice led the field with a 78.  Norman also 
had an eagle on the 8th hole by driving the green and 
rolling in a 10' putt.  Lester Crawford finished 
second overall, but first in his flight with his 
Duffer's best this year 79.  

Bill Hawthorne had his career best with a 96 carding 
a 41 on the front side.  

Mark Southers also had a good day shooting an 83 in 
the third flight, his lowest Duffer round this year.

Rock and Skip led the way with a 79 followed by Dr. 
Baker with an 80.

Rock led the way with a blistering 76 and new comer 
Tony McNeil led his flight as he carded an 84 playing 
steady golf
 
Aug 7, 2005 Duffer/Clevelad @ Highland GC
Results:

Pittsburgh bested Cleveland as Alton Jolly (77) led 
three other Duffers -- Norman (79), Skip (79) and 
Rock (79).  Russell Drake shot his Duffers best with 
an 81 as he teamed up with Alton to dominate their 
opponents.

Alton Jolly led the way with a 75 as he bested the 
field on another hot and steamy summer day.  Good 
playing Alton.

10 Golers graced the fairways of Champion Lakes on 
another hot and steamy day.  Rock led the field with 
a 79, follow by Dr. Fussell.

Russell Drake provided the listing of flight 
standings.  A belated welcome to our two newest 
members Charlie Thompson and Tony McNeil

Saturday at Donegal Highlands was cancelled.

Dr, Baker led a small field this week at Spring 
Church with a score of 82.
 
Jul 10, 2005 Buffalo Valley CC @ 11:00
Congrats to Alton Jolly and Dr. Mike Fussel, who 
represented quite well at the Kappa Tournament held 
at Butlers Golf Course on Saturday.  Alton shot 71 and
Dr. Fussell shot 77 to finished one/two and Rock 
finished 4th with a 79.

Rock led the way the next day with the Duffers at 
Buffalo Valley CC with a 77.

Norman Brice led the field shooting a 77, 
followed by Rock and Alton with scores 79.  

Lester Crawford shot his lowest Duffer round with an 
80, distancing all of the players in his flight by a 
wide margin.
 
Jun 26, 2005 Hickory Heights
On an extremely hot day the last Sunday of June, the 
Tournament Player (TP)led the way with a cool 79 
aided by 3 birdies.

Oh, you don't know who TP is -- what a shame --

Michael Thomas led the way with a 78 and Russell 
Drake shot his best round todate with the Duffers.  
Good playing guys as the Duffers won the 4-ball 
tournament in Ohio.

On a hot and sunny day, Mike Thomas led the way with a 
79. His score could have been a lot better if he could 
play the par5's.  He had four birdies, but played 
the par5 at 8 over par -- good playing anyway Mike!

Russell Drake won the raffle drawing this week and 
correction to was made on the Yankee Run winner, it 
was Rock versus Ducky

Calvin Johnson led the way this week with a 85 on an 
extremely hot and humid day with Al Simpson in tghe 
second flight nipping at his heels.

May 29, 2005 Raven -- Duffers vs. Cleveland
The Pittsburgh Duffers dominated the Cleveland 
Chippers on their home course in Raven Ohio.  
Pittsburgh won in a match play event 5-0-2.


Rock led the way with a 73 carding his second "double 
eagle" in 3 years.
 
May 22, 2005 Yankee Run
Dr. Baker - led the way with a score of 85.  The 
greens were just not holding and there were so few  
birdies amongst the players this weekend.
 
May 15, 2005 Beaver Valley CC
On a windy day, Calvin Womack led the way with the 
best score of today with an 84.

Dr. Purdie McGrath was the lucky winner of the raffle 
drawing.
 
May 8, 2005 Tom's Run 10:00
Rock lead the way at Tom's Run with a 81 on a very 
beautiful day to play.  However, the speed of the 
greens and pin placements really kept players putting 
defensively.

1. Meeting was not held due to lack of time and 
participation.

2. Ken Coles won raffle drawing for green fees at 
Birdfoot

3. David Powell won raffle drawing at Tom's Run this 
week's green fees.

4. Eric Kirksey won raffle for green fees three week 
ago at Fox Run.

Dr. Fussell lead the way with a stunning score of 89 
in very windy and cold conditions.  Vistor from Ohio 
had the best overall score of 81.

1. Alton Jolly lead the way last week with a score of 
78 at Stonecrest.

2. Al Simpson won the first raffle for last week's 
green fee.

3. Calvin Womack won closest to the pin on hole #9 
with a shot of 15 feet.

4. Alton & Rock lead with a score of 80 and Jerry 
Williams had 2 birdies and was most improved over the 
previous week's score.

April 6, 2005 at 7:00pm.

4. Collection of dues -- dues from two members was 
collected.
5. Discussion on a few common rules for clarity.  
Unplayable lie, lateral and regular hazards were 
discussed as well as ball moving within a club length 
of your ball.
6. Formation of Committee for Duffers Tournament -
additional members are welcomed to assist with 
tournament.
