West Penn Minority Jr. Golf Association, Inc is more than just a golf program.  If a picture is worth a thousand words then look at the pictures and listen to the videos, and see the story created by WPMJGA and its friends and families, board members and most of all the participants.

Our Business

Our  program is built on a platform that expresses quality of training, a desire to help our particpants undersatnd the rules of golf and relate the qualities associated with golf to life experiences in a positive way.

Who We Are

We are the program who in 2003 was selected by the Tiger Woods Foundation to host an inner city clinic in Wilkinsburg PA and subsequently have 15 kids and parent enjoy a demostartion by Tiger in Orlando. 

We are the program who was honored by the the USGA in 2005 for having the most recorded round of golf played by a junior golf program and in that same year awarded by the USGA for the most rounds recorded per average participant in the program.

We are the program whose founder was awarded a Jefferson Award in 2005 for his community service related to his untiring work with the program.  In addition, he was inducted into the National Black Golf Hall of Fame in 2008 and into the United States Golf Teachers Federaton Hall of Fame in 2010.

We are the program that continues to look for ways to stay in touch with past members to continue support them and look for jobs and scholarship opportunities to assist our students through the rocky roads of life.
